Elder Research is proud to sponsor the University of Virginia Link Lab Flash Talk series. The first iteration of of the series is Thursday December 10th at 3pm. Elder Research is an industry affiliate sponsor of the Link Lab, an interdisciplinary, cyber-physical systems research center hosted at UVA. During this one hour session, PhD students from the Link Lab will provide two minute synopses of their research on difficult problems in Autonomous Systems, Connected Health, Smart Cities, and Hardware for IoT.
“Some of the most pressing challenges in science and engineering lie at the interface between the cyber and physical realms. These complex, multifaceted problems can only be tackled through an interdisciplinary approach, wedding traditional disciplines like Civil Engineering with emerging fields like Data Science,” said Will Goodrum, Director of Research and Development at Elder Research. “We are proud to partner with the Link Lab, because the research they are performing lies squarely at these interfaces. The alignment of mission and vision between our two organizations could not be better.”
